So since there was a break in the rain (it was sunny two days ago!) I decided to go up our street and take a walk in the woods. It looks like a little wooded area, but actually extends very far in all directions around our neighborhood.

Running through the woods!

I scared my friends Matt and Missy running down the path back to our road! "I was wondering who was running through the woods!". I assured her I wasn't a ghost! Even though I wouldn't know what one looked like as I've never seen one. She said she saw little dolls in her kitchen moving once! She said she watched them moving for a long time. "When you were little?!"... "No last month"

| This wooded area is one of the few spots where we live not covered in redwoods. |

This little pocket of baby redwoods wormed their way in!

| My neighbors husband says he wasn't real but his wife and kids think the Reverend did exist! |

I feel so lucky to have this as my "neighborhood walk"
Well tut-tut it feels like rain! Time to go back!
I recently purchased the property that this trail sits on. If anyone knows any history of the property or the reverend I would love to hear it
ReplyDeleteWill you be staying in the area? Local neighbors would be the best resource. I heard there was and wasn't a reverend...I guess there used to be more of a picnic area up there. A couple people on the mountain have lived there 25+ years. The White House going up the road was supposedly a Manson Family house for a bit. If you are going to live their Ill tell you more about your soon to be neighbors...oh boy!
